Moe lives strongly by a Frank Lloyd Wright quote, painted at the top of Marmiro Stone’s studio in big, bold letters: Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature— it will never fail you.
Moe has experienced close to two decades of challenges and bumps that morphed the company into what it is today. Founded in 1999, the first Marmiro showroom was constructed in the garage of his tiny, two-bedroom home. He founded Marmiro Stones with his business partner and co-founder of the company, Turgut Bekisoglu. With roots in Boca Raton, Florida, the demand for natural stone pavers quickly dominated the Southern market. As soon as the company began to flourish, the 2009 recession proved to Moe that everything could be taken away from him in the change of a day— but the Marmiro brand was strong enough to survive.
For a fresh start, Marmiro Stones® was taken up north to New Jersey in 2011, a move that was initially challenging, but resulted in the strong home base Marmiro has today. Over everything, Moe believed in branding and the strong diversity of the company, and learned how to make decisions for the company that would still apply decades down the road. Without giving into fear or doubts, he was able to invest in the clear and dominant future of Marmiro.
For Moe, Marmiro Stones® is far from just a job— it’s his life. Since 1999, Marmiro has been his home. With the support of his wife, Heidi, who oversees the entire operation, the two of them have become a dynamic pair to inspire, motivate, and encourage those around them. At the end of the day, Moe turns to his chosen family, the team he and his wife have created, and measures success through the happiness of Marmiro team members.
Like the Frank Lloyd Wright quote, Moe’s desire to study nature and his innate love for nature were driving forces behind his life at the bustling office, the busy travel schedule, and his life at home as both father and husband.

For Heidi, it’s all about the details. Heidi has been building the business up with Moe since 2002. She has had her leg in every aspect of the company – accounting, sales, and production. Starting out in sales, Heidi quickly realized her love for interior design. Once the company was moved from Florida to New Jersey, she enrolled herself in night classes to learn more about designing, all-the-while juggling the growing company and her growing family.
With a passion for fashion, she began coordinating fashion with tile design, and following European trends to infuse style and taste into the creation of pieces unique to Marmiro.
Now as she designs and manages Marmiro’s interior line, she finds herself assisting in all ends of the company. From reviewing invoices and offering a helping hand in accounting, to putting out fires, Heidi uses her expertise to smoothly run the company by her husband’s side.
But when Heidi finds herself with a rare moment of free time, she likes to relax by planting flowers in her garden, or playing tennis.

Mike has been in construction sales since 2000, but if we’re being honest, it started way before that—back when he was working alongside his dad in the family masonry business. He quickly realized selling the material was a lot less back-breaking than installing it, and the rest is history. Now, as Marmiro’s national sales director, he’s not just selling stone—he’s building a legacy, helping turn Marmiro into a powerhouse brand while leading the sales team across the country. He also oversees operations for all of Marmiro’s distribution centers because, well, why not keep things interesting?
If there’s one thing Mike believes in, it’s the power of a strong team. He thrives on the energy, the challenges, and, of course, the group chats filled with way too many inside jokes. He leads with equal parts strategy and sarcasm, proving that you can be both sharp and hilarious in a high-pressure industry. His motto? Work hard, laugh harder, and always have a solid game plan (or at least look like you do).
When he’s not on the road or rallying the team, Mike is all about family time. Nearly 25 years of marriage to his wife, Angela, has taught him that grilling is an art, golf is a great way to bond with his son Tatum, and a golden retriever named Magnus will always find a way to steal the spotlight. He’s also a die-hard baseball guy who loves passing down his knowledge to the next generation—because life, much like baseball, is all about playing smart and swinging for the fences.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design Management, Dana has spent over 10 years working with natural stone, and what started as an interest in interiors has now expanded to a deep love for outdoor spaces. She finds it fascinating how every piece of stone has its own unique story before it even reaches the project site.
At Marmiro for the past 12 years, Dana loves taking on a project from scratch. There’s something incredibly rewarding about working with a blank slate and seeing it transform into something beautiful. What makes it even better is when clients and homeowners are excited about the final results—knowing she had a hand in making their vision come to life is the best part of the job.
Dana’s great at design, paying attention to the smallest details, and tackling multiple projects at once while keeping everything running smoothly. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her husband, their two rescue dogs, Maverick and Jagger, and their energetic 3-year-old son, Brody, who keeps things lively around the house. Whether it’s family adventures or just relaxing together, Dana makes the most of her time off.
Fun fact: Dana used to have a collection of frogs as pets growing up. These days, she enjoys unwinding with a 1,000-piece puzzle or figuring out a good mystery—she’s pretty sure she could be an asset to the FBI if they ever needed her!

Meet John, who’s been turning outdoor spaces into works of art for over 20 years. After graduating from Williamson Trade School in 2000 with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design, he jumped headfirst into the world of hardscaping—and never looked back.
John joined the Marmiro team in 2018 and has been dominating Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia ever since, helping customers craft their dream projects with the perfect stone. He thrives on the relationships he builds, whether it’s with contractors, customers, or his awesome coworkers. It’s all about the people for John—and let’s be honest, those people love him right back!
What makes John successful? It’s his patience, organization, and sheer grit. He’s got a problem-solving mindset that turns every challenge into a chance to shine. And when he’s not busy being a hardscape hero, you’ll find him at the gym, burning off energy and clearing his mind—because he’s got big dreams to build!

Danielle has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and an Interior Design certification, which basically means she can read your mind and design a stunning space at the same time. Before joining Marmiro Stones, she worked with high-end interior designers, selecting fabrics and furniture for luxury homes — so she has an eye for the details and a knack for bringing a vision to life.
She’s been with Marmiro since 2015, starting out at the NJ location and selling to the Northeast and Midwest before making the move to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2021. Now, she is the territory sales representative in The Greater Charlotte, Western North Carolina, and Upstate South Carolina markets, making sure projects go from “just an idea” to “wow, that’s perfect.” She’s hands-on with every step, including sales & design, jobsite visits, templating custom areas, installation recommendations, maintenance tips and tricks, and sometimes even deliveries!
When she’s not working, she’s either at the gym staying strong or enjoying a well-earned mezcal or espresso martini (because balance, right?). At home, she’s got her own little squad: two cats, Melo & Wade, and a mini Goldendoodle, Levi, who probably think they run the show.

Matt has now spent nearly twenty years within the Hardscaping Industry specializing in overseeing the growth of sales, creating, developing and maintaining relationships throughout the Northeast.

For the past four years, Jake has been helping clients across Tennessee and the surrounding states bring their hardscape visions to life. With a strong background in construction, real estate, and sales, he combines technical knowledge with a keen eye for design and color selection to guide customers through the material selection process.
What Jake enjoys most about his role is being hands-on in project design features, ensuring that every detail—from stone choice to finish—creates a cohesive and beautiful result. His problem-solving skills and sales expertise make him a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate challenges and make confident decisions.
Outside of work, Jake enjoys home renovation, golf, and hunting, but his favorite way to unwind is relaxing with his daughter, Isabella. Fun fact? He still gets I.D.’d for rated R movies!

Jeff didn’t just stumble into the construction industry—he marched straight into it after graduating from The Citadelnearly three decades ago. Starting as a sales trainee, he quickly realized that solving problems and closing deals was where the real fun was. Now, with 28 years under his belt, he’s still chasing the thrill of the sale like it’s his first big win.
What sets Jeff apart? His ability to truly listen. Not the kind of listening where you’re just waiting for your turn to talk, but actually hearing what clients need (because no one likes a pushy salesperson). His goal is simple: make projects run smoother, help clients find solutions, and maybe even have a little fun along the way.
When he’s not out securing the next big deal, you’ll probably find Jeff deep in the great outdoors—fishing, hunting, or tackling his latest obsession: restoring an old Boston Whaler 17’ Montauk. Todd’s journey to Marmiro started long before he joined the team in November 2022. After running his own hardscape and landscaping business for 17 years, he knows the industry inside and out. Now, as the sales rep for Southeastern North Carolina and Northeastern South Carolina, he’s all about building strong relationships and helping clients bring their visions to life.
With a degree in Environmental Biology and a background in metal fabrication, welding, and CNC machining, Todd has a unique mix of skills that make him a true problem-solver. Whether it’s business strategy, industry expertise, or just cracking a well-timed joke, he brings it all to the table.
At home, Todd is surrounded by a full house—two dogs (Piper & Diesel), two cats (Nahalla & Scooty), and four amazing kids ranging from 12 to 26. When he’s not working, you’ll find him hunting, fishing, playing sports, or whipping up something incredible in the kitchen—because, fun fact, he’s a self-proclaimed master chef and even pickles his own vegetables.

With a BA in Business Management from Radford University and over two decades of experience in the stone and hardscape industry, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for problem-solving to Marmiro. From managing stone centers to working in sales and operations, he has spent years helping customers select the perfect materials for their projects. His expertise lies in understanding stone—its strengths and limitations, and how to match it seamlessly with a client’s vision.
What excites him most? Working closely with customers to find the right stone, size, and finish, as well as troubleshooting challenges as projects evolve. He thrives on making tough decisions easier, ensuring every selection complements both aesthetics and functionality.
Beyond work, Matt leads an adventurous life—sailing, surfing, skateboarding with his youngest son, and creating stained glass panels. He’s also a dedicated swimmer and yoga, finding balance both in and out of the workplace. At home, he enjoys the company of his two dogs, Winston and Phineus, and cherishes time with his four children and granddaughter.

Darin’s passion for helping people and turning their visions into reality is what drew him to the industry. He thrives on logistics, showcasing new products, and creating that “wow factor” for clients through our wide range of resources.

Lee joined Marmiro Stones in 2025, bringing nearly two decades of hardscaping and landscaping experience with him. Though new to the team, his passion for outdoor living and natural stone makes him a perfect fit.
His love for outdoor spaces started young, shaped by family gatherings filled with grilling, picking crabs, and enjoying time by the pool. Now, he’s thrilled to play a role—big or small—in creating outdoor spaces that bring people together. He especially enjoys collaborating with passionate, creative people and sharing his industry insights. And if a customer ever asks for his suggestions? Well, that’s his favorite part!
Before diving into hardscaping, Lee served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Germany. Traveling across Europe gave him a fresh perspective on history, culture, and the world’s realities—including his experiences during Operation Desert Storm. That time shaped him, but so did his appreciation for adventure (and maybe a good German beer or two).
Outside of work, you’ll find Lee hiking local parks, exploring Virginia wineries, and putting his wine expertise to good use—thanks to his eight years working at a winery in New Mexico.

Nick likes to joke that he’s been with the company longer than Marmiro® has been Marmiro Stones®. As the Hardscape Specialist and technical support system, Nick has been in the industry for over 30 years, and a part of Marmiro® since the early 2000’s.
A typical day involves setting up the proper guidelines for the installation for travertine and marble walls, dry lay systems, and wet lay systems. Besides offering tips and advice for the best installation possible, Nick loves to make his own limoncello, wine, balsamic vinegar, hot peppers, and pickles—to name a few!

Grecia Mejia

Grecia joined Marmiro in 2020 as a valuable member of our sales support team. With a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Administrative Science, she brings a solid understanding of organizational management principles, including operations and decision-making.
In her role, Grecia provides crucial support to the sales team, processes orders, assists the accounting department and ensures our clients receive excellent customer service. Her previous experience in customer care, combined with her approachable personality and strong work ethic, has made her a great fit at Marmiro.
Outside of work, Grecia enjoys spending quality time with her two sons, Sebastian and Matteo. She has a passion for music and dance and also loves tackling home projects. Chelsea’s path to the stone world wasn’t exactly planned—she stumbled into it 9 years ago and never looked back! Now, she’s rocking the CSR/Operations role at Marmiro’s NC branch and has been with us for 3 years. She thrives in the fast-paced environment and loves being part of the dynamic team, especially working under Mike Hayden and alongside the NC crew.
Her sharp attention to detail keeps things running smoothly, and when she’s not conquering her workday, she’s hanging out with her two large dogs, Jameson and Anakin. For fun, Chelsea is all about books (she’s a collector, of course) and throwing knives—don’t worry, she’s got the aim of a pro!

Caitlyn joined the Marmiro team in July 2023, after stumbling into the hardscape/stone field by chance in 2020 and never looking back. She’s passionate about being part of an amazing team here in the South and enjoys the collaborative atmosphere at Marmiro.
Though her previous work experience doesn’t involve stone, Caitlyn’s organizational skills help her stay on top of things and keep everything running smoothly. Outside of work, Caitlyn has a small zoo at home, including 6 dogs and 2 kunekune pigs! Her dogs are: Elvira, Toast, Pamela Hounderson, Burt Macklin, Cowboy, and Poe. Her pigs, named Dolly Pigton and Tammy Swynette, add even more personality to her life.

Chrissy brings 13 years of customer service experience to her role at Marmiro, where she’s been for a year. With a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Women’s Studies, Chrissy loves connecting with people and helping them feel at ease—something that makes her day-to-day work exciting and rewarding. She’s passionate about supporting her team and welcoming clients into the showroom.
When she’s not at work, Chrissy enjoys spending time with her senior cats, Cora and Bella, whom she adopted during the pandemic, and her 9-year-old daughter, Skylar. She also likes to unwind with a getaway to the Poconos, where she can relax and recharge away from the hustle and bustle. Raja joined Marmiro 8 months ago, bringing his background with a BA in Foreign Missions and a passion for helping others. Although his journey in the stone industry is relatively new, he enjoys being part of a great team and helping clients with their needs.
In his role, Raja is especially good with math, using his skills in multiplication, division, and calculating linear footage and square footage to ensure projects run smoothly. Outside of work, Raja enjoys spending time with his iguana, Rocket, and when he’s unwinding after a busy week, he likes to study, have conversations with his soon-to-be wife, and catch a quick nap.
A fun fact about Raja? He’s got a knack for getting a deal on just about anything. On a daily basis, he also loves to tell a joke of the day to his team members, adding some humor to the day. When it comes to hobbies, he’s into fishing, hunting, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ).

Kim brings a unique background to Marmiro, with most of her previous experience in the collision and warehouse industries. She was drawn to the natural stone field out of curiosity about how these beautiful materials help create stunning projects around the world.
Since joining Marmiro, Kim has enjoyed seeing projects come to life and loves looking at the finished photos of completed work. It’s a rewarding part of her role to be involved in something so visually impactful.
Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her toy Pomeranian, Piper, and is passionate about riding her motorcycle—a hobby that gives her a sense of freedom and adventure. After a busy week, you can usually find her unwinding with a glass of wine.

Mike’s journey into the hardscape industry wasn’t exactly planned—his brother pulled him in to fill a need, and before he knew it, he was hooked. Now, with over 20 years of experience, he’s built a legacy around helping people create their dream outdoor spaces using only the best brand of natural stone.
For Mike, it’s all about giving back—whether through education, mentorship, or sharing his own experiences (including a few hard-learned lessons) to help others succeed. Since joining Marmiro in 2016, he’s been dedicated to craftsmanship, building relationships, and making sure every project turns out just right.
Outside of work, Mike’s world revolves around his family—his two sons, wife and his rescue pup, Papaya. He also holds a rather painful record: tearing his Achilles tendon three times. (Some records are better left unchallenged!) To recharge, he hits the CrossFit gym or at the beach with his toes in the sand.

She thrives under pressure—sure, her blood pressure might spike, but somehow, that’s when her best work happens!
At home, Samantha is ruled by Pixie Moo, her rescue cat with a serious identity crisis (is she a cat? A dog? Who really knows?). She’s also mastered the art of tripping over absolutely nothing, yet somehow, in her younger years, she managed to twirl batons and play softball without total disaster—go figure!

Javier has been a core Marmiro Stones member since 2010. He experienced the move from Florida to New Jersey, and the tail-end of the 2009 recession to the Hurricane Sandy hit— that left the pre-paperless offices underwater.
Since the beginning, Javier had been eager to learn the different corners of the company, from deliveries and orders, to production and operations. Starting off as an operator of the Marmiro trucks, he was able to memorize the routes of the deliveries to ensure flawless drop-off’s and happy clients.
But the room for growth and opportunities the company offered encouraged Javier to assist in multiple departments, and eventually transition from an operator of the Marmiro flatbeds to the overall Operations Manager.
Today, Javier uses his expertise to lend a helping hand where it’s needed both in the offices and in the warehouse. And when it’s closing time, he likes to celebrate the end of the day with an employee soccer match, or watching a wrestling match with his children.

After more than a decade in the accounting world—mainly in point-of-purchase manufacturing—Michelle knows her way around numbers, spreadsheets, and the occasional financial curveball. What started as a “why not?” junior AP & AR clerk role quickly turned into a full-blown career path. She discovered her talent for numbers, rolled up her sleeves, and steadily climbed the ladder from bookkeeper to accountant, then senior manager of accounting and HR, and now, Controller.
She’s all about continuous improvement—whether it’s fine-tuning inventory processes, optimizing cost control, or keeping cash flow in check. With a process-driven mindset and a big-picture view, she’s not just crunching numbers—she’s connecting dots across departments and making sure finance plays nicely with ops, sales, and logistics. Strategic, ethical, and forward-thinking, she’s the type who balances today’s to-do list with tomorrow’s goals.
