Moe lives strongly by a Frank Lloyd Wright quote, painted at the top of Marmiro Stone’s studio in big, bold letters: Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature— it will never fail you.

Moe has experienced close to two decades of challenges and bumps that morphed the company into what it is today. Founded in 1999, the first Marmiro showroom was constructed in the garage of his tiny, two-bedroom home. He founded Marmiro Stones with his business partner and co-founder of the company, Turgut Bekisoglu. With roots in Boca Raton, Florida, the demand for natural stone pavers quickly dominated the Southern market. As soon as the company began to flourish, the 2009 recession proved to Moe that everything could be taken away from him in the change of a day— but the Marmiro brand was strong enough to survive.

For a fresh start, Marmiro Stones® was taken up north to New Jersey in 2011, a move that was initially challenging, but resulted in the strong home base Marmiro has today. Over everything, Moe believed in branding and the strong diversity of the company, and learned how to make decisions for the company that would still apply decades down the road. Without giving into fear or doubts, he was able to invest in the clear and dominant future of Marmiro.

For Moe, Marmiro Stones® is far from just a job— it’s his life. Since 1999, Marmiro has been his home. With the support of his wife, Heidi, who oversees the entire operation, the two of them have become a dynamic pair to inspire, motivate, and encourage those around them. At the end of the day, Moe turns to his chosen family, the team he and his wife have created, and measures success through the happiness of Marmiro team members.

Like the Frank Lloyd Wright quote, Moe’s desire to study nature and his innate love for nature were driving forces behind his life at the bustling office, the busy travel schedule, and his life at home as both father and husband.

For Heidi, it’s all about the details. Heidi has been building the business up with Moe since 2002. She has had her leg in every aspect of the company – accounting, sales, and production. Starting out in sales, Heidi quickly realized her love for interior design. Once the company was moved from Florida to New Jersey, she enrolled herself in night classes to learn more about designing, all-the-while juggling the growing company and her growing family.

With a passion for fashion, she began coordinating fashion with tile design, and following European trends to infuse style and taste into the creation of pieces unique to Marmiro.

Now as she designs and manages Marmiro’s interior line, she finds herself assisting in all ends of the company. From reviewing invoices and offering a helping hand in accounting, to putting out fires, Heidi uses her expertise to smoothly run the company by her husband’s side.

But when Heidi finds herself with a rare moment of free time, she likes to relax by planting flowers in her garden, or playing tennis.

Dana first joined Marmiro® after getting her bachelor’s in interior design management. Her love for fashion and home decor had been a driving force behind joining the company. Now, in her position as sales manager, every day is a new day, with potential for new designs, projects, and ideas. From assisting clients with their design, to material selection and management production, Dana looks forward to the possibilities the future holds. In her free time, Dana enjoys working on her home, family gatherings and spending lots of time with her two rescue dogs!

Danielle Geresi

Since joining the team in 2015, Danielle has been driven by the opportunity for growth that Marmiro Stones® has offered. Starting with answering phones at the front desk, she then took on the responsibility of managing the design studio to host private design consultations, eventually making her way into sales through attending trade shows nationwide and gaining a client base of her own.

The passion Danielle has led with over the last number of years has created the foundation that she stands on today, as a sales representative for the Greater Charlotte area. Danielle loves being on the road and involving herself first hand on the jobsite, taking every opportunity to learn something new and gain more experience in this male-dominant industry!

Benito has been with the company since 2008, and since then he has assisted in every role as needed in the warehouse, eventually leading to an opportunity in sales— a role, he likes to say, that propelled him into uncharted waters. Benito continues to grow and learn each day, something he looks forward to— same as watching a good boxing match to unwind at the end of a long day.

Mike started at Marmiro with 14 years of experience in the hardscape industry under his belt. The family-dynamic at Marmiro encouraged Mike to grow stronger within a team, and created an environment of ideas and knowledge bouncing off of one another. As the Regional Sales Manager, Mike focuses on driving sales and expanding the distribution network. His passion for sports drives him to be the best team player possible.

John is the territory manager for Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. In this position, John runs through product knowledge and installation techniques with customers and contractors. While he’s not working, he likes to cheer on the Eagles, his favorite sports team.

Mike Hayden

Mike is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience working with various building materials, hardscapes, and masonry cement along the Southeast Coast. In January 2019, he officially joined the Marmiro® team, a company he was already familiar with due to his two-decade-long involvement in southern living and projects, both Interior and Exterior. His passion for Marmiro Stones® natural stone products led him to seamlessly integrate into the company’s culture.

Being from Southern Maryland and having called the Carolinas home since 1994, Mike currently serves as the Team Leader of the South Eastern sales team and oversees operations in both Crossville, TN, and Wilmington, NC. His mission is to introduce and promote Marmiro Stones® in his own backard and beyond, bringing the company’s products to a wider audience.

Jeffrey started in the warehouse in 2011, assisting management for operations to run smoothly by gathering samples, making deliveries, creating displays, and maintaining a clean facility. Now, his main focus has been to become a sales representative, along with helping the current sales team with any tools necessary—and also having fun with the drone by taking photos of finished projects! Jeffrey likes to take a break from his busy days by hiking or riding his motorcycle.

Born and Raised on Long Island’s Gold Coast, Matt found himself studying overseas in Lugano, Switzerland and eventually making his way back stateside. Upon returning, Matt began his professional career in the Financial Industry and ultimately decided to trade in his ‘Suits for Boots’ when the opportunity presented itself. Matt has now spent nearly twenty years within the Hardscaping Industry specializing in overseeing the growth of sales, creating, developing and maintaining relationships throughout the Northeast.

On any given day, you can find Matt between ‘Manhattan & Montauk.’

Matt, his Incredible wife Susan, and their children still call the North Shore of Long Island, Home.

Jake joined Marmiro in 2021. When a building was opened in Crossville, Tennessee to expand the company’s success into a new territory, many vendors needed to be hired to help make the dream a reality. Jake was introduced to us by his brother-in-law who had a sign shop next door. Having sold insurance for two years, and real estate for a year after that, he was no stranger to the home and construction industry. His love for flipping houses in his spare time gave him a leg up on what he needed to know about hardscapes and design. As the first sales rep in Tennessee, Jake’s goal within the company is to absorb everything he can to further his position within the company – ultimately running his own territory in the Southeast. This location is the second location after the NJ headquarters to be equipped with a fabrication shop, which provides many more opportunities and strength for Marmiro as a whole. When he is not out selling, he loves spending time with his daughter, Isabella, and renovating his own home!

Nick likes to joke that he’s been with the company longer than Marmiro® has been Marmiro Stones®. As the Hardscape Specialist and technical support system, Nick has been in the industry for over 30 years, and a part of Marmiro® since the early 2000’s.

A typical day involves setting up the proper guidelines for the installation for travertine and marble walls, dry lay systems, and wet lay systems. Besides offering tips and advice for the best installation possible, Nick loves to make his own limoncello, wine, balsamic vinegar, hot peppers, and pickles—to name a few!

Christina joined the company in 2012, right as things were beginning to pick up speed. From the beginning, when she watched and learned as the small business operated, Christina has since had a role in almost every aspect of the company. From marketing to sales, operations, and inventory control, Christina has worn many hats. Aside from her changing day-to-day responsibilities in the company, Christina is an aspiring cake decorator who loves to bake in her free time.

Samantha spearheads the graphic design decisions at the company, operating the Marmiro marketing department. Besides maintaining the website, and producing artwork for displays and sales tools, Samantha likes to be behind the creative planning for ideas and projects. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Samantha gravitated toward creative freelance work before falling in love with the Marmiro environment. As a big crafter and DIY-er, she enjoys painting, and spending time with her family as well as trying new things. She looks forward to continuously providing beautiful artwork and creative tools for the company.

Javier has been a core Marmiro Stones member since 2010. He experienced the move from Florida to New Jersey, and the tail-end of the 2009 recession to the Hurricane Sandy hit— that left the pre-paperless offices underwater.

Since the beginning, Javier had been eager to learn the different corners of the company, from deliveries and orders, to production and operations. Starting off as an operator of the Marmiro trucks, he was able to memorize the routes of the deliveries to ensure flawless drop-off’s and happy clients.

But the room for growth and opportunities the company offered encouraged Javier to assist in multiple departments, and eventually transition from an operator of the Marmiro flatbeds to the overall Operations Manager.

Today, Javier uses his expertise to lend a helping hand where it’s needed both in the offices and in the warehouse. And when it’s closing time, he likes to celebrate the end of the day with an employee soccer match, or watching a wrestling match with his children.

Ana is a three-person department in one. As the operations assistant manager, she handles logistics; the shipping, warehouse, and fabrication department; and orders going to and from Marmiro. Despite her hectic days, Ana loves the growing, fast-pace lifestyle of the company. But when the weather allows —and when she’s not running around in the warehouse— she likes putting aside time to ice skate, ski, and snowboard.

Allison serves as Ana’s right-hand woman in the warehouse.

As a second set of eyes in the warehouse, Allison keeps track of orders entering and leaving the warehouse, and manages the corresponding files to ensure operations are running as smoothly as possible.

With a previous background in retail, Allison enjoys everything Marmiro has to offer, and learning the ins and outs of the company. Her favorite thing especially is overlooking the custom fabrications and watching dream designs come true.

But even with the hectic days at the warehouse, Allison still manages to find time to relax with her three children by shopping or spending much needed down days by the shore.

When she’s not in the office, she can be found using her season tickets for the Red Bulls soccer team.
