Looking for a job that would ultimately lead to my life career, I had two things in mind:  constant growth and travel. That’s why, when I sat down for my interview with Moe and Heidi in January of 2015 and Moe said to me, “If you are in the same place you were six months prior, we are all failing – you should constantly be growing, and leveling up each day” I knew Marmiro Stones was the place for me. I started just answering the phones at our front desk, assisting with sample requests of the then-few sales reps we had, making labels for the warehouse, and watermarking installed photos we had in our library to learn the products and finishes. I wasn’t sure exactly where I wanted to be within the company, but what was most important was there was opportunity for growth. Then, at only nine months in, I was invited to the national ASLA Conference in Chicago with some of our team and had my first experience at a trade show. It was at that point I knew my goal was to become a sales team member.

LEAF logo

11 years ago, a vision of leaves came to the mind of Heidi Arpacilar, Executive Vice President of Marmiro Stones. Not the green, ribbed plants that grow on trees, but a life mantra: Live Everyday as Free, LEAF. Embodying the same symbolism as those green pieces of Earth – growth, rental, and revival – Arpacilar’s vision was about new beginnings, and a better world.

Blue Grout

You can’t have a tiled bathroom without lines of grout. Those monotone, flat lines of sticky paste don’t
have a reputation for being colorful or fun, and are typically installed a dismal gray. It’s time to ditch the
monotone grout for a dash of color.
